Wilma June Sanders, 94, of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at StoneBridge Health and Rehabilitation, Bedford.

Born November 16, 1928, in Hartford City, she was the daughter of Luther and Georgia Teegarden.

She married Charles Cunnington who preceded her in death on November 13, 1971. She then married Roy Sanders and he preceded her in death in February 2011.

Wilma graduated from Montpellier High School.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, George Cunnington; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; husband, Roy; son, Charles Cunnington; daughter, Diana Taylor; grandson, Bobby Cunnington; and 3 siblings.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care.

Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until the service hour Friday at Queen-Lee, Shoals.
