William Jacob Shaw

William Jacob Shaw age 31, of Shoals, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 in Loogootee. He was born March 26, 1989 in Bedford to Terry and Rheta (Crowder) Shaw. He was a member of the Shoals High School Class of 2007, was formally employed by U.S. Gypsum and the White Stallion Coal Mine in Montgomery. He was of the Christian Faith. Survivors include his parents; his grandfather, William Shaw of Shoals, two daughters Kamdyn Shaw and Kamryn Shaw both of Shoals; four brothers, Eric (Jamie) Shaw, Chad (Kellie) Shaw, Joby (Megan) Shaw and Jonah Shaw all of Shoals; nieces and nephew, Maggie Shaw, Gracie Shaw, Carson Shaw, Kenley Shaw and Kyra Shaw; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death are maternal grandparents, Roy Crowder and Vera Crowder; and paternal grandmother Barbara J. Shaw. Funeral services are 1:00 PM Friday at the Shoals Christian Church with Bro. Joe Crow officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday and 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals and 12:00 PM until the time of service at the church. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangement.
