Wanda Jean (Ratliff) Parsons, passed away at 8:21 a.m. on October 13, 2015 at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born November 8, 1944 in Lawrence County, Indiana to the late Harold and Nancy Alice (Wease) Ratliff of Bryantsville. She married James Vernon Parsons on January 19, 1963.
Wanda graduated in 1962 from Huron High School. She was a very dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her home and family very much. She was a seamstress at Edson Incorporated in Loogootee. She also was a loyal follower of Jesus Christ and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in French Lick.

Children: Sheryl L.(Parsons) Langdon and husband David L. Langdon of Bedford, Indiana
Tampa R. (Parsons) Holt of Loogootee
James R. "Bob" Parsons and wife Debra A Parsons of Shoals
Grandchildren: Michael L. Holt, Autumn M. Gibbs and husband Cyrus Gibbs, James D. Holt and partner Kayleigh Lanier, Jared "L.P." Langdon, Dakota B. Langdon, Rachel N. Parsons, Garrett A. Parsons,and Evan J. Parsons.
Great-grandchildren: C.J. and Ava Gibbs and Wynter Holt.
Preceded in death by sisters Annette K. McCart and Anita K. Rhodes; brother, Jack L. Ratliff and a brother in infancy.
Memorial services will be Friday October 16, 2015 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Her ashes will be scattered at a later date at a private ceremony. A separate memorial service will be at the Kingdom Hall of French Lick on October 31, 2015.
