Virginia Sue Waggoner

Virginia Sue Waggoner of Shoals passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes on May 29, 2015 at 9:44 p.m. Born on April 17, 1941 in Loogootee, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Edith (Earl) Ragsdale. Sue graduated as Salutatorian from Shoals High School Class of 1959. She was previously employed by the Essex Corporation in Orleans and then the Dana Corporation in Mitchell, retiring due to declining health. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and was a fan of NASCAR. She is survived by one son, Gregory D. and wife Tina Waggoner of Indianapolis, Indiana One daughter, Shelli and husband Michael Steiner of Shoals Six grandchildren: Jenae Jones, Mackenzie Jones, Brittany Davis, Lauren Estes, Charli Steiner and Mindi Steiner, and two great grandchildren, Kendall Bond and Cooper Price. One brother Steve Ragsdale of Shoals She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Marie Hardwick, Kay Horsting and two brothers James Ragsdale and Carleton Ragsdale.
