Tammy Lynn Hert

Tammy Lynn Hert, age 53, of Shoals, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1:04 a.m. Born on April 15, 1962 in Daviess County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Carl E. and Frances C. (Salmon) Payne. Tammy will be remembered for her bright smile and laughter. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Tammy was baptized and attended the Powell Valley Church. She also attended the River Church in Shoals. She is survived by her husband Larry D. “Rabbit” Hert of Shoals Daughters, Nikki Butler and Melissa Gibson both of Shoals Grandchildren, Josten, Alysa, Jatelin, Brylei, Trenden, Maeha, Jacob, Colton, Emma and Bryson. Sisters, Vicki J. Wetter of Loogootee Catrina Goldsberry of Loogootee Brothers, Dexter Payne of North Carolina Josh Payne of Loogootee Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by parents, and a daughter Alisha Butler. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be made on-line to the family at www.queenlee.com
