Sue Ellen Morrison, 78, of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

Born November 2, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Stewart) Romick.

Sue graduated from Shoals High School.

She retired from NWSC Crane after over 40 years.

Sue married James Morrison, and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2019.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shoals, where she served as choir director and organist for many years.

Sue was an animal lover and enjoyed planting and maintaining her flowers.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Janara (Le Roy) Combs and Joseph (Lindsey) Morrison; and grandchildren, Bryce Scott, Maria Morrison, and Logan Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shoals, with Father J. Kenneth Walker, Celebrant, officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the service hour at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Martin County Humane Society.
