Rosa Tedrow

Rosa Marie Tedrow age 94, passed away at 5:50pm, on June 17, 2017, at the Loogootee Nursing Center in Loogootee, Indiana. She was born January 8, 1923 in Dubois County to Robert and Maggie (Wininger) Tabor. She attended Crystal Junior High School. She married Leland John Neukam on August 9, 1937 in Paoli, Indiana and he passed away November 7, 1978, they had six children together. She was baptized on November 7, 1996 at the Loogootee Christian Church in Loogootee. She was a homemaker most of her life and in earlier years she had worked at Textile, Medco Nursing Center, Arrow Café, Star Tavern, Homestead Restaurant, and cleaned homes for several Senior Citizens. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; two daugters, Beverly Meehan of Paoli; Linda Thomas of Loogootee; one son, Gary Neukam of Loogootee; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Her parents, three sons Harold Neukam, Donald Neukam, Roger Neukam, two sisters, Roma Nail and Daisy Taylor have all preceded her in death. A private funeral service will be held at the Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes on June 21, 2017 and burial will follow immediately afterward in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Shoals Indiana.
