Robert Lee Sherfick

Robert Lee “Bobby” Sherfick age 72, of Shoals, passed away at his residence on January 11, 2022. He was born December 4, 1949, to Kenneth L. and Violet Ruth (Holt) Sherfick. He married Nina Holt on February 14, 1996, and she survives. “Bobby” was a mechanic for Bailey’s Brothers in Shoals, retiring in 2019. Survivors include his wife, Nina; sisters, Sandy (Pat Hawkins) Sherfick of Shoals, Viola Embree of Shoals, Brenda Petty of Shoals, Opal Mesarosh of Loogootee, Tammy Bledsoe of Loogootee, Diana Riker of Terre Haute; one brother, Osmo Petty of Dalton, Georgia; stepchildren, Daniel Clifton of Shoals, Darren (Mandi) Holt of Shoals, Mindy Holt of Lafayette; ten grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, two sons, Jason Sherfick and Robert (Little Bobby) Sherfick Jr. two sisters, Berta Davis and Donna Kent; and two brothers, Kenny Holt and Rosco Petty. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Quinn will officiate. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until the time of service. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes will be in charge of the arrangements.
