Mary L. (Harder) Salmon, 63, of Loogootee, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at her residence.

Born September 8, 1962, in Jasper, she was the daughter of Karl and Anna Irene (Reilly) Harder.

Mary married Kent Salmon on November 7, 1981, and he survives.

She graduated from Loogootee High School with the class of 1981.

Mary was a homemaker.

She enjoyed watching television, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Kent; children, James Salmon, Adam Salmon, and Gage Salmon; grandchildren, Jamie Salmon, Jaicey Salmon, and Kenley Salmon; great-granddaughter, Alex Salmon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Sally Hotz and William “Bill” Harder.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor David Selfie officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children in memory of Mary L. Salmon.
