Judy Joann Martin was called home into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 21, 2024. After years of failing health and ultimately losing the battle to cancer, Judy was welcomed to her eternal home with her family by her side.
Born in Muncie, Indiana on July 24, 1950, to William Collins, Jr. and Patricia (Wilson) Collins, Judy grew up and lived many of her younger years in Eaton, Indiana. She was a homemaker while raising her children and later worked as a certified nursing assistant in French Lick and Loogootee. Judy loved spending time with her family. You could usually find her at the dining room table drinking coffee all hours of the day.
Judy married Robert E. Martin, Sr. and he proceeded her in death in July 2002.
Judy is survived by her four children, Karl (Sherry) Young of Jasper, Raymond (Angie) Young of West Baden, Sandra Boruff of Jasper, and Jason (Jackie) Young of Hartford City; one sister, Carol (Mark) Humbert of Jasper; one brother, David (Ann) Collins of Eaton; eleven grandchildren, Danielle (Micah) Murphy of Shoals, Tiffany Salmon and fiancé (James) of Washington, Steven (Angel) Young, Raymond (Monica) Young, Jr., and Kyle Young and fiancé (Leann) all of West Baden, Douglas (Gene) Bell of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jason (Jasmine) Young, Jr., Jacob (Aliyah) Young, and Gracie, Bentlee and Conner Young, all of Hartford City; eleven great-grandchildren - Tanner, Loretta, Levi, Chayton, Justice, Theresa, Dominic, Mia, Jesse, Evaughn and Elijah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Judy was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Patricia Collins; three brothers, Danny Collins, Sr., Ronald Collins, and Frank Collins; and two sisters, Beverly Collins in infancy and Freda Bell.
Cremation was chosen.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care has been entrusted with the arrangements.
