Jose Marquez, 81, passed away recently at his home in Washington. He was born on October 1, 1934 in Mexico. He was married to Carolyn (Payne) Marquez and she preceded him in death in 2009. He retired as a construction worker.
Jose is survived by a step-son, Gary Dorsey of Washington; step-daughter, Brenda Dorsey of Shoals; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shoals Church of The Nazarene Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
