Grace Ann (Beyers) Nugent, 62, of Loogootee, formerly of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Serenity Springs Senior Living at Northwood , Jasper.

Born January 22, 1963, in Washington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Leroy and Mary (Holt) Beyers.

She married Arnold Nugent and he survives.

Grace attended Shoals High School and was a homemaker and caregiver.

She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, animals, and spending time her family. She loved her family dearly.

Grace was of the Nazarene faith.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Arnold; children, Mary Leanna Nugent, of Loogootee, Bradley Ray Nugent, of Loogootee, and Corey Adam (Nicole) Nugent, of Odon; grandchildren, Sirena “lil bug” Nugent, Tristan Earl, Zachary Nugent, and Ashile “lil peanut” Nugent; great-granddaughter, Octavia Baker-Earl; siblings, Tim (Cheryl) Beyers, Rita (Paul) Mathers, Reba Moffitt, and Jarrod (Brenda) Beyers; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Jeff Moffitt.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2025 with Marvin Lagle officiating at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the service hour on Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel, Shoals.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Queen-Lee Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
