Dorothy Jo Howell

Dorothy Jo Howell age 82, of Shoals, passed December 31, 2021, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare in Jasper. She was born June 29, 1939, in Marmet, West Virginia to Howard and Glenna (Canterbury) Berry. She married Richard T. Howell on October 25, 1994, and he survives. She graduated high school in Eastbank, West Virginia and came to Indiana in 1994. She was a nursing aid and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors include her husband Richard “Dick” Howell; three daughters, Dorothy McCullin, Suzan McCullin and Debbie Yarbrough; and one son, Richard Bailey. Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time. The Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
