Donald "Donnie" Montgomery

Donald “Donnie” Montgomery, age 65, of the Weisbach Community, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was the son of Wayne and Beulah (Abel) Montgomery. Donnie along with his twin brother Danny, was born on December 15, 1949 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He attended Shoals Schools and was previously employed at NAD Crane and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by a daughter, Julie Montgomery of Shoals. Brothers: Kenneth Montgomery of Shoals Robert Montgomery of Shoals Stanley Montgomery of Shoals Marvin Montgomery of Haysville Sisters, Wilma Albright of Shoals Eileen Sanders of Salem, Ohio Nancy Allen of Loogootee Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Ann Baker, brothers Dennis Shipman and twin brother Danny Montgomery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
