Delbert "Dick" Howell

Delbert J. (Dick) Howell, age 80, of Bryson City, NC, formerly of Shoals passed away at 2:30pm on December 18, 2020. He was born November 21, 1940 in Martin County to Burl G. and Doris Arvin Howell. He married Carla Jean Cooper on November 21, 1963 and she preceded him in death on January 31, 2013 He is survived by a daughter Amy (Tony) Holt of Bryson City, NC; a nephew that was a son to him Patrick (Lisa) Farhar of Martinsville, two granddaughters; Madelyn Rose Holt of Bryson City and Lauren Holt of Loogootee; two grandsons Bailey and Kaedon Holt of Loogootee his care takers Jim and Kay Allen and a very special friend Jayliene Grogan. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St John's Catholic Church in Loogootee.
