Danny Way

Danny Richard Way, 58, passed away May 19, 2025, at his residence. Born October 30, 1966, in Washington, IN, he was the son of Richard and Violet (Probasco) Way. Danny married Laura Bair on November 7, 1997, and she survives.

Danny attended and graduated from Shoals High School and worked as a sawyer at C&H Stone in Bloomington, IN for many years before working as an explosive handler at Crane Army Ammunition Activity.

Danny enjoyed hunting, riding the backroads, spending time with family, and above all making memories with his three grandsons and as Danny would say “making them meaner than a snake.”

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Laura; children, John (Beth) Way, Dylan (Ivory) Way, Macey (Jalen) Pearson, grandchildren, Trenton Way, Jaxon Pearson, and Briggs Pearson, all who reside in Shoals, IN and 2 brothers, Matthew (Rachel) Way and Mark Way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Violet Way.

Danny chose Cremation and a Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
