Curtis Ray Sanders, age 47, of Shoals, passed away January 17, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana. He was born January 4, 1974 in Washington, Indiana to Kenneth (Dee) Sanders and Monica (Moffitt) Clifton. Curtis attended Shoals Community Schools, was a factory worker and worked at Sanders Tire Service. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Survivors include his father, Kenneth (Deirdree) Sanders; his mother, Monica Clifton; two brothers Kenneth Sanders Jr. and Scott (Rhonda) Sanders; one step-brother, Noel (Amber) Harty and one step sister, Dawn (Vinnie) Ferrell of Texas; step father, Bill Clifton; several nieces and nephews; one great nephew; and special friend Dave (Anita) Letterman. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Mary Rosalee Sanders; maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Moffitt; and one niece, Ashley Sanders. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel with Pastor Ed Farhar and Father Kenneth Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will 9 – 11 am Friday at the funeral home. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
