Carl W. Carrico, 64, of Shoals passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2016 at 6:47 a.m. at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. Born on September 19, 1951 in Washington, Indiana he was the son of the late Joseph H and Dorothy (Alford) Carrico.
Carl was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his longtime and loving friend, Mary E. Holt of Shoals; 4 sisters, Joann Carrico of Evansville; June (Larry) Matheis of Newburgh; Jane Carrico of Carlsbad, CA and Patty Cornish of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother Jeremy Carrico of Loogootee; nieces, nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Christopher Carrico.
Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. The Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker will officiate the service. A private committal service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
