Brenda Sue Bearden

Brenda Sue Bearden age 62, of Shoals, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at her residence. She was born March 13, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to J.M. and Minne Ellen (Short) Sexton. She married Van Bearden in 1978 and he survives. Brenda graduated Calhoun High School in Georgia and was an employee of Jones Oil Company. She is survived by her mother, Minnie Ellen Baker of Shoals; two sons, Chris (Ashley) Bearden of Shoals and Heath Bearden of Rome, Georgia; five grandchildren, Keagan, Kaylee, Kenna, Aubr’ee and Ayden Bearden; two brothers, Gary (Nancy) Sexton of Shoals and Jeff (Nina) Sexton of Loogootee; and one sister, Lisa Baker of Shoals. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents Josephine and Wade Short, Lucille and Lundy Sexton and one brother in law, Steve Baker. No services are planned. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
