Beverly "Susie" Hopkins, 81, of Shoals, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington.

Born November 13, 1944, in Shoals, she was the daughter of Cecil and Minnie (Trimble) Holt

Susie married William "Billy" Hopkins I on May 11, 1979, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2025.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda (Mike) Wininger, Bobby Graham, Lois Singer, Pam Robbins, Shane Andrews, Tom (Marva) Andrews Jr., and William Lee (Ramona) Hopkins II; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William "Billy" Hopkins; and siblings, Robert Holt, Larry Holt, Patty Hert, Betty Harding, and Jack Holt.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care at 431 High Street in Shoals.
