Betty J. Ervin

Betty J. Ervin January 23, 1933 – November 20, 2020 Betty J. Ervin age 87, of Mooresville, formerly of Shoals, passed away on November 20, 2020 at the Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville. She was born January 23, 1933 in Dubois County to Harry and Caroline (Krodel) Braun. She married John W. Ervin on February 27, 1954 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include one son, Michael Ervin of Plainfield; two daughters, Nancy Jones of Paragon and Cathy McCartney of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael McCartney; three brothers, Cleo Braun, Kurt Braun, and Willis Braun; and one sister, Artis Bowling. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.
